S.A.T Training Courses
The Self-Defence (S.A.T) Training of the general options comprises 5 hours on one 'Training Day' or 10 hours spread over a 'Two-Day Training Course'. In addition, there are also the following extended options. The 'One-Week Training Course' includes 18 hours spread over 5-6 training days. 'The Two-Week Training Course' includes 36 hours spread over 10-12 training days. The 'One-Month Training Course' includes 72 hours spread over approximately 20 training days.
The courses are charged in USD as follows (payment in advance, alternatively by arrangement also USDT/C possible). This fee covers all associated costs, such as flights and accommodation.
Here is a list of the respective offers, which are divided into: 'General Options' and 'Extended Options'.
General Options. In these two courses, the repertoire of the essential basis (the most important technical elements) of the system is taught. With these options, the focus is placed on the art of unarmed combat, therefore no weapon fighting is taught.
• Training Day, 5 hours in total, $9,000.
• Two-Day Training Course, 10 hours in total, $14,000.
Extended Options, with 2-3 daily training hours spread over a longer period of time. With these options, there is more time to internalise what has been trained, to practise outside of lesson hours if possible, and to clarify any questions that arise both technically and practically. For these training courses, participants should be given 1-2 days, depending on the length of the course, after completing the first lessons to process what they have learned. A week consisting of 5 training days is recommended. The option 'Two-Week Training Course' and longer includes weapons training. Therefore, in advance, rattan sticks with a length of 62 cm / 24.4" and a diameter of ideally 3cm / 1.15" should be prepared; if possible, also shorter ones with a length of about 23 cm / 9" (do not use sticks that are too thin, in order to ensure a strong and secure grip. For the short ones, which serve as a substitute for a knife, thinner sticks can be used).
• One-Week Training Course, 18 hours in total, $19,000.
• Two-Week Training Course, 36 hours in total, $27,000.

Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence
Additional information for instructors who want to embark on a new direction to take the world of martial arts to the next level.
How to become a Lifetime Certified S.A.T Instructor with a one-off licence fee
• An S.A.T Instructor Licence is available for $7,000.
• Anyone who takes part in at least a 'Two-Day Training Course' receive the S.A.T Instructor Licence for $5,000.
• Anyone who takes part in at least a 'Two-Week Training Course' receive the S.A.T Instructor Licence for $3,000.
• Hosts of a 'Two-Day Training Course' and beyond receives the S.A.T Licence free of charge.
How to become a Lifetime Certified S.A.T Instructor as a former student of the IAW
• Former IAW Students (from the 9th SL, achieved until 2020) can receive the S.A.T Instructor Licence for $3,000.
• Former IAW Students (from the 1st TG, achieved until 2020) can receive the S.A.T Instructor Licence for $2,000.

The S.A.T Instructor Licence is valid for life and authorises all Instructors to independently organize and distribute their students' clothing and equipment using the IAW / S.A.T logo. Holders of an S.A.T Instructor Licence work completely independently and freely. No agreements are necessary.
Holders of an S.A.T Instructor Licence wear the Silver Instructor Badge on the left chest side of their shirts.
Instructors who run an S.A.T Training Centre and have already held an S.A.T Licence for at least 5 years
receive the Golden Instructor Badge.
However, the Golden Instructor Badge may be awarded after just 2 years provided the Instructor organises
one of the Training Courses mentioned above.
Another option for long-standing, active trainers is to receive certified appointment as a Master.
Instructors who run an S.A.T Training Centre and have held the Golden Instructor Badge for at least 3 years
are appointed as S.A.T Masters provided they organise one of the Training Courses mentioned above.
