Training Courses

The Self-Defence (S.A.T) Training comprises 5 hours on one Training Day or 10 hours spread over Two-Day Training Course. The One-Week Training Course includes 18 hours spread over 5-6 training days. The Two-Week Training Course includes 36 hours spread over 10-12 training days and the One-Month Training Course includes 72 hours spread over approximately 20 training days. The courses will be charged as follows (to be paid in advance, alternatively by arrangement in USDT/C). The fee already includes the travelling days, as well as the expenses for flights and hotel. 

Regular option. In these two courses, the repertoire of the essential basis (the most important technical elements) of the system is taught. With these options, the focus is placed on the art of unarmed combat, therefore no weapon fighting is taught.

• Training Day, 5 hours in total, $ 9.000.

• Two-Day Training Course, 10 hours in total, $ 14.000.

Advanced options, with 2-3 daily training hours spread over a longer period of time. With these options, there is more time to internalise what has been trained, to practise outside of lesson hours if possible, and to clarify any questions that arise both technically and practically. For these training courses, participants should be given 1-2 days, depending on the length of the course, after completing the first lessons to process what they have learned. A week consisting of 5 training days is recommended. The option 'Two-Week Training Course' and longer includes weapons training (therefore, rattan sticks with a length of 62cm / 24.5" must be brought to the lessons).

• One-Week Training Course, 18 hours in total, $ 19.000.

• Two-Week Training Course, 36 hours in total, $ 26.000.

• One-Month Training Course, 72 hours in total, $ 43.000.

Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence

Additional information for instructors who want to embark on a new direction to take the world of martial arts to the next level. 

How to become a certified S.A.T Instructor.

• a Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence (one-off licence fee) is available for $ 7.000. If interested please contact our office.

• anyone who takes part in at least a 'Two-Day Training Course', as well as active students of the IAW, receive the Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence for $ 3.500. 

• anyone who takes part in at least a 'Two-Week Training Course' receive the Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence for $ 1.000. 

• the host of at least a 'Two-Day Training Course' are awarded a free Lifetime S.A.T Licence (one lifetime license per event).

How to become a certified S.A.T Instructor as a former student of the IAW. 

• former IAW students (from the 9th SL, achieved until 2020) can receive the Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence at a reduced rate ($ 3.500) upon request.

• former IAW students (from the 1st Technician Grade, achieved until 2020) can receive the Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence at a   reduced rate ($ 1.500) upon request.

The Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence authorises all Instructors to independently organize and distribute their students' clothing and equipment using the IAW / S.A.T logo. 

Holders of a Lifetime S.A.T Instructor Licence work completely independently and freely. No agreements are necessary.
