..... and where do you want to teach WingChun?

Have you ever thought about making your favorite hobby into your profession?

On this page you will find everything about WingChun Instructor Training. I know from experience, however, that individual questions are hard to answer with a simple table and a few sentences. However, on the subject of instructor training, the head Instructor at your local Academy is well-prepared and looks forward to answer your emerging questions any time. This training leads you on the path from student to teacher of the Self-Defense art, WingChun. That one or more students accompany him or her in this way is the desire and the goal of each Academy Leader.

The completion of the "Assistant Degree" and a one-year internship as an Assistant is required before the title Sihing/Sije, which translated from the Chinese means "Teacher", is given. You can see who bears this title, and thus are official Instructors of the International Academy of WingChun, on the webpage "Highest Students" of the IAW.

Instructor Training is a separate branch and has nothing to do with the achievement of a Student Graduation. Hence, there are also many advanced in the table of the Highest Students, who have not chosen to become an Instructor. This is not necessary in order to reach the highest IAW Graduation one day. The Graduations (Student Level, Technician Grade, and Master Degree) and Certifications (Assistant, Instructor, and Diplomate) are two completely distinct and independent branches. Consequently, whoever has it in mind to teach the art of WingChun, should start the (Professional Training) study in a timely manner.

If you're playing with the idea of one day opening an your own Group, or even leading an Academy, then let your Instructor and even me know.
